WELCOME TO BEACON HILLS

Beacon Hills is a small town in the Northern part of California. It was once a thriving town that has fallen into disrepair. It is also, currently, the scene of a supernatural battle that has only just begun.

This is an AU Beacon Hills set during season 1 at this time. What's the same? Most things in this verse are set in Beacon Hills. All of the events up until the first episode are the same except one thing. It was Laura who was left a charred mess in the basement after trying to save her family, and Peter that took Derek from Beacon Hills before they were found by the hunters.

Now, six years later, things are going dark in the town. Someone has been killing people, and the power of the family is in turmoil.

Laura is pretty much where Peter was. Angry. Violent. Looking to take revenge on those that took her life from her. What do we already know about this verse?

* Peter and Derek were alive when Laura woke up
* Kate still seduced Derek to get the information about the pack
* Laura, in seeking to restart her pack, has bitten both Scott... and Stiles
* Laura is the Hale alpha


Is Peter alive or dead? We don't know. Maybe Laura has been alpha this whole time, alive but unable to act on it. Is Cora in South America? Maybe. This is pretty open right now. If interested, let me know.

"And there's no other option is there? Be with you as a werewolf or not be with you as a human." Stiles said a little wearily.

"But that's not a guarantee. You don't know for certain it will take."

[avenges]

"As a human there's the danger of you being killed easier. In combat you would be a liability because Scott and I both would be worrying about your life, Stiles. You would be bonded to us both as pack. It would make it easier for you to protect your father as well. You would have advantages you just can not have as a human."

She shook her head. "No, there's not, but I believe you are meant for this."

"Fair enough. Does it have to be here?" Because this is probably the best way to actually help Scott and he's got to do that. Since technically it's still his fault that Scotty got bit in the first place.

But he doesn't want to get bit here in the parking garage.

[avenges]

She smiled then, shaking her head. "Oh course not. You should be comfortable. I am trying to do this right this time," she admitted. "Your place or mine?"

She offered her hand to him. "Shall we?"

[avenges]

​"I am now, they just can't see," she murmured. "Derek, I didn't want you back here not to keep you safe. I promise. You're my family, my brother. Why would you think I wouldn't protect you?" She stroked his cheek. "I love you."

[avenges]

​She rolled her eyes. "You'd handle it better without the words directly but here we go. You'll learn to handle your senses. The scent, the sight, the speed and strength you now have. You'll learn to handle all that comes from being a werewolf beta, Scott. There is that clearer?"

[cluelesspuppy]

"I don't believe in either of them, Stiles. This is just ridiculous."

[cluelesspuppy]

Scott looked at her a moment, then huffed. "Actually, yeah. It's still crazy, but at least I can understand you now."

[rozpetac]

"Ridiculous or not, don't totally discount it."

And then he tilts his head at his bro. "How bad did this look when you bandaged it up?"

[avenges]

"It's only crazy because you weren't raised with it. Not being able to sense a predator, or hear a friend's call for help a mile away seems crazy to me," she admitted.

[grumpypuppy]

He took a deep breath, waiting for her to pass him before he spoke again. "I'll tell Laura you stopped by."

[grumpypuppy]

"I know you can, but not when you were in a coma. I had to protect you. Because I love you to, Laura."

[trained_to_lead]

"I appreciate it." Allison stopped for a second, pulling out a piece of paper before she scribbled a number on it.

"Give her my number?"

[grumpypuppy]

He thought a moment, then held out his hand for it. "Sure." He waited a moment. "Just do us a favor - keep your aunt far from her. Far from here."

[trained_to_lead]

"...That's kind of out of my control." Allison eyed him for a long moment.

"What did my aunt do to you?"

[grumpypuppy]

"You should ask her." But the look in his eyes gives you the answer. It was anger, yes, but there was sadness. A very deep, painful sadness.

[stabilises]

"I can try, I guess. I haven't actually seen her since I was eight though." And the e-mail contact was usually random.

"Sorry for intruding again." And she headed back to her car to drive into town.

[cluelesspuppy]

"Like a huge bite. I mean, hell I don't know how her jaw opened that big. And it was red and bloody."

[cluelesspuppy]

"But why me? I didn't ask for this."

[avenges]

"But I can protect you now. I won't let the hunters hurt you. I promise. I let them hurt this family once. Never again."

She said it so sincerely, meaning it even in her madness.

[avenges]

"I overreacted due to emotions. I didn't mean to do it without speaking to you. I plan to speak to the next," she said, already having picked him out. "It's been hard on me, Scott, dealing with my emotions."

[grumpypuppy]

"Okay." And he was going to let it lay there, knowing she meant it. He wasn't sure if he liked the lengths he had a feeling Laura would go in that promise, but he knew to believe it.

[avenges]

She stroked his cheek, smiling tenderly at him. Almost like the girl she had been but likely never would have done this as if it were normal.

"And you're staying here? In town?" She wanted his word. "At least until the town and pack are safe?"

[grumpypuppy]

"Yeah, I'm staying." And somewhere along the way, Peter was going to get a very, very bitchy text message from his nephew with no details, but enough context to let him know that it wasn't good and to stay away.

[cluelesspuppy]

He wanted to know her name. Or why she was dealing with what emotions, but nope, he had a bone he was going to run with that was neither. "You're going to do this to someone else?"
