She settled back on her heels, still kneeling over him. Her entire demeanor had changed, and she stared down at him with wuth mixed emotions, none of them clear. They were muddied, just like everything in her mind. Yet she was fighting it, trying to keep herself settled as best she could.
"I know. I'm so glad. I thought Peter would come, that I would have to get him to bring you to me but you came. You knew and you came," she said, sighing. "I'm so glad you came home."
