WELCOME TO BEACON HILLS

Beacon Hills is a small town in the Northern part of California. It was once a thriving town that has fallen into disrepair. It is also, currently, the scene of a supernatural battle that has only just begun.

This is an AU Beacon Hills set during season 1 at this time. What's the same? Most things in this verse are set in Beacon Hills. All of the events up until the first episode are the same except one thing. It was Laura who was left a charred mess in the basement after trying to save her family, and Peter that took Derek from Beacon Hills before they were found by the hunters.

Now, six years later, things are going dark in the town. Someone has been killing people, and the power of the family is in turmoil.

Laura is pretty much where Peter was. Angry. Violent. Looking to take revenge on those that took her life from her. What do we already know about this verse?

* Peter and Derek were alive when Laura woke up
* Kate still seduced Derek to get the information about the pack
* Laura, in seeking to restart her pack, has bitten both Scott... and Stiles
* Laura is the Hale alpha


Is Peter alive or dead? We don't know. Maybe Laura has been alpha this whole time, alive but unable to act on it. Is Cora in South America? Maybe. This is pretty open right now. If interested, let me know.

"Shhhh."

She put a finger to her lips, long claw showing sharply against her skin. It was almost comical given what she had just done, and how loud he had been.

Standing over him, she stared down at him. "Go home," she said softly, eyes flashing brilliant red with the words, working make them a command. "Tomorrow, I'll see you. I'll know where to find you."

If he lived, she would find him.

He shrunk a bit at those words, not liking them at all. He looked at the bite mark on his ribs, then back up at her. "Who are you?"

She smiled though, blood staining her mouth. "Dear one, stop acting like a wounded bird. You are much more than that, and I'm the woman that has fixed your life."

[cluelesspuppy]

"I was actually hoping for a name and not creepy cryptic talk." And for the record, blood smiles will always be creepy.

​She actually offered him her hand, smiling still. "It's Laura, and trust me. You're going to love this," she said, sounding as if she meant it. "How about I come by to see practice tomorrow. We can talk after." After he saw the differences. If he lived through the night.

Scott wasn't sure what the hell was going on, but he let the creepy lady help him up and then he took like, five steps back away from her. He winced as he touched his side, because still.... ow?

"You still haven't told me what this even is!"

"This is me granting you your dreams, Scott. You have no reason to trust me. Wait until tomorrow though, and then we'll talk. You should go home," she said, waving a hand at him. "Go on now, before your friends come looking for you."

Scott just nodded, backing away and watching her one last moment before he booked it for where Stiles and the Sheriff were.

True to her word though, she was there the next day. Perhaps she had been there for hours, watching him to see what he might do. Come practice that afternoon though, she was there, watching, curious to see how he might be doing.

Staying in the shadows of the bleachers, watching the boy curiously.

And well... lacrosse had been very interesting. Mostly because he suddenly knew how to aim and um, sorry Danny? He hadn't meant to hurt you that much.

He had gone to shower in the locker room, taking deep breaths to calm down. His heart was racing and it was pounding in his ears and it was just freaking him out more.

It was a sight to see, she had to admit. A new wolf, strong and aggressive, showing the power that she had given him. Of course, it would mean little if he wasn't willing to use it.

Waiting as others straggled out of the locker room, she slipped inside with a smile for a kid that spent the entire time on the bench. Definitely not someone she would pick, even now, and headed to where she could hear Scott breathing.

She paused just outside the showers.

"Find a focus, Scott," she called, hearing that racing heart. "Stop thinking about all you can hear, all you can smell. Focus on one thing."

He hears her and he jumps, his head snapping up because she was here and he was in the shower and, well, naked.

"What's happening to me? What did you do?"

[avenges]

It wasn't as if she didn't know nudity. She's seen it before. Not his, but that doesn't bother her too much by the way she's just standing there.

"I did what I could for you. I've given you strength, and the ability to be the lacrosse player you want to be. You'll learn control, Scott. You will learn to be all you can be."

[cluelesspuppy]

He thought about the things he and Stiles had talked about. "Did you turn me into a werewolf?"

Just putting that out there. Please laugh and say he's crazy.

A brow arched at that. "I merely gave you the means to do so," she said, not saying it directly but certainly not laughing either.

"I suppose we'll know for sure come the full moon, hmmm?"

[cluelesspuppy]

"That's two weeks from now." Captain obvious.

[avenges]

"I'm aware," she said, giving him a sharp look. "It gives you time to work on your senses, to see where you stand. I admit, you looked amazing out there, Scott. Didn't it feel good?"

[cluelesspuppy]

"I sent Danny to the hospital!"

[avenges]

​"Lacrosse is a dangerous sport," she noted. "You'll learn control, Scott. Give it time. You are a good man, strong. You can do this."

[cluelesspuppy]

"Do what?! Can you just answer a question like a not crazy person?!"

[avenges]

​She rolled her eyes. "You'd handle it better without the words directly but here we go. You'll learn to handle your senses. The scent, the sight, the speed and strength you now have. You'll learn to handle all that comes from being a werewolf beta, Scott. There is that clearer?"

[cluelesspuppy]

Scott looked at her a moment, then huffed. "Actually, yeah. It's still crazy, but at least I can understand you now."

[avenges]

"It's only crazy because you weren't raised with it. Not being able to sense a predator, or hear a friend's call for help a mile away seems crazy to me," she admitted.

"But why me? I didn't ask for this."

[avenges]

"I overreacted due to emotions. I didn't mean to do it without speaking to you. I plan to speak to the next," she said, already having picked him out. "It's been hard on me, Scott, dealing with my emotions."
